Lee/Eich (R11)

We last saw Anise and Keith as the most well behaved couple at the Annya Var house. Now they're back in the hood so lets see what they get up to...

Lee/Eich (lot 16) Monday-Saturday
Pictured: Keith Lee, Anise Eich

With some help from Anise's family, and some money leftover from their college scholarships, Anise and Keith were able to afford a nice home back in Silvervale (too bad they were only able to sparsely furnish it after moving in!)

After settling into the house, they went by Bluewater Village to get some new clothes... BE GONE green puffy vest that Keith transitioned into!

Keith managed to stumble upon a high paying job in his preferred field of Business on his day of adulthood

That evening, they had some family and friends over for a small housewarming party

Being a CEO of a major company was something Keith always desired... although he wasn't expecting that the company would send a helicopter to pick him up on his first day on the job

The job fit Keith so well that it didn't take him long to reach the top of the field, and fulfill his lifetime want in the process

Even after the big promotion, things were quiet in the household. Neither Keith, nor Anise were in any hurry to get married or have children... (neither rolled the wants and there weren't any chimes /sadface). Most evenings they just sat around and read

Or napped...

It took Anise a little bit longer, but she was finally able to land a mid-level position in the Intelligence career

The success in the job market allowed Anise enough aspiration points to declare a secondary aspiration... being raised on Grilled Cheese, it was no question what she would choose

Scoring: 2 points (1 point for Keith reaching TOC business, 1 point for Keith fulfilling his LTW)

((Well I don't know why it took me so damn long to update this, I've had it played for a really long time... I guess I'm just a slacker /shrugs. There really isn't anything going on in this house. I'm going to do what a lot of you do, and not force my prosperity sims to marry or have children if they don't want to/risky woohoo doesn't kick in. Columbia is up next... and I'm writing it now, so another update in 20ish minutes, lol))

Is it 3p for LTW? I thought that was for IW. Anyway, congratulations to Keith!

Yeah, you're probably right... It's been so long since I blogged that I forget the scoring... but scoring is pretty meaningless anyway, heh. Maybe I'll just start recording milestones. :)

Good to see you back, I've missed these sims :) Boring households aren't necessarily bad, they just give you some breathing space between other more 'interesting' (read: chaotic) households.

I've missed them too. Spring/summer is very hectic for me though so i've been keeping very busy in my garden. Hopefully with fall closing in i'll have more sims time soon. Gosh i really need to catch up with angelos too!

Liz, yeah, Angelos is still speeding away. The good thing is that I have a recap post for weeks 8&9 scheduled for the end of October (all the pictures are there, just need to write it -- I am stupidly ahead play-wise compared to posting-wise) so you'll have some breathing space once that goes up.

And a garden, do you/what kind of stuff do you grow? I'm planning out a veg patch in mine and I'm hoping to get some food grown in it from next year.

I grow a little bit of everything and I started most of it from seed this year: tomatoes, eggplant, peppers, squash (summer and butternut), pole Beans, beets. I even tried sweet corn this year but it didn't really work out so well... Also, my cucumbers were a flop, so I need to do a little more research next year.

I also can stuff for the winter, so far I've canned tomatoes, beans and my mom got me a half bushell of peaches that I canned this weekend. There's nothing better than famers market peaches in the middle of January :)

You're in the UK right? I'm not sure how this will apply, but there is a great book that I use a lot called "Grow Great Grub" by Gayla Trail. Also, "Mother Earth News" Magazine was a great investment (only $10/year subscription). This year was my third year, I'm debating taking master gardener classes this winter/spring and maybe doing a blog of my progress... we shall see though ;)

Wow, you've certainly got a little bit of everything there. One paper over here did an offer a few months ago of 'free' seeds (had to send off for them as we didn't have the store close by to collect them from), but I ended up with tomato, lettuce, beet, carrot, radish, basil, parsley, rocket, cabbage, spring onion, cucumber, and cress seeds. Everything from tomato to rocket in that list I'm going to try growing (it should all be relatively easy to grow), as well as some multicoloured peppers (which will be hit or miss as they ideally need a greenhouse) and lamb's lettuce.

I've got a few other things I'd like to grow, but I'll need the experience/more space than I have. I'm also going to be having some strawberry, black raspberry, and blueberry plants in pots, and the main issue with those will be keeping birds away. Most excess will be frozen or given to some people we know; I'm wary about canning as it's not something that seems to be done here so I can't get experience from anyone.

I am from the UK, yes, and I quickly checked and that book is available here. I've got a simple gardening book already, but that one might be worth a look as it seems to have a lot on limited space growing. I'm planning on blogging my progress as well -- my blog is going to get crowded with sims, gardening and the occasional fandom-related items.
